INTRODUCTION

Years ago, when I was a young boy I often thought that for one to repeat a class means that such a person or student is a dummy; maybe you felt that way too during your days. But that’s not it. Many is as a result of our inability to pay adequate attention to the nitty-gritty’s of what were thought. Coupled with the inability to learn from our mistakes and turn them into our own benefit and advantage.

However, Geologists and earth sciences has made us to figure out that steppingstones are described as stones acting as footrests for crossing streams, marshes etc., and I wholeheartedly agree with them that it is. And in the same vein, one may say that whatever that serves as a stumbling block and blockage to anyone’s success is as well a steppingstone.

Perhaps it might be failure, impoverishment, hardship, trials, rejection, resistance; impediment loses, negation, adversities etc., all belongs to the same order of hierarchy. Who says failure can’t be a steppingstones to success. Abraham Lincoln once wrote that his greatest concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure. He failed on several occasions in pursuit of his dreams and visions of life.But, he didn’t give in, he pressed on until he won. So if you have failed now or have not succeeded now you have not failed. You still have a chance to prove who you truly are.

In essence, Abraham Lincoln was later recorded as one of the greatest American presidents after suffering a good number of defeats and setback. But, picked him-self up once more and clinch his leadership position as American president.

In spite of all the difficulties you are passing through right now as a young adult, I want you to have it in mind that isn’t the end of the road for you. Everyone makes mistakes when starting out in the race of life. And it is this mistakes that worth your stories tomorrow. So rise up on your feet, make up your mind that you still have what it takes to get to your desired height. In spite of the odds you can still make it only if you have a positive resolution about yourself. And commit all your situations to God Almighty. I believe God will redirect your path and footsteps to get to that place you have in the inside of you.

This book titled Steppingstones will encourage and teach you what you need know in order to overcome the roadblocks and stumbling blocks of life. God’s thought for you are not yours. His thought on any issue of life are higher and greater than yours and therefore leads to highways of life (Isaiah 55:8).

However, I trust that you read this book; God will instruct you, and as well guide you as a teen along in definite lines. He’ll give you the proper steps and solutions to your circumstances either in the past or now. Thereby enabling you to locate your direction and stand the chance of stepping over your challenges.
